John Baker

John is long time barbershopper, having sung in several quartets over the years, and has hosted the annual Corn Roast for almost 40 years. In addition, John and his wife Shirley have run the convention Harmony Marketplace at every convention for many years. Their Marketplace is a marvel, as it is stocked with much more merchandise than at other districts’ conventions.

His biggest contribution has been as the Pioneer District Historian. John has a display at every convention, and is constantly updating his historical artifacts.
